Hello internetland. I’ve been mulling and postulating and other big words for thunk and have come to the conclusion that based on current performance including late and absent comics I’m putting the strip on indefinite hiatus for at least the rest of the summer. I hope this doesn’t bother anyone too badly. It may be back with the new school year, or if i suddenly feel inspired for some reason, but I don’t like keeping people hanging. So thanks to everyone who’s read along so far, and i hope i see you again if this crazy enterprise winds back up at some point. But until then i bid you adieu and an overwrought metaphor.

It’s because the entire thing is staffed by private detectives. You can’t see it behind the speech bubble but there’s totally a magnifying glass on the logo. They may not be the best doctors but boy is there never a shortage of broads and whiskey.

Fishing comics for summer time! I’ve been listening to quite a few podcasts lately. I really like the conversational nature of a lot of them, it gives you a chance to sort of feel like you’re getting to know cool people you wouldn’t otherwise get to talk to. I might direct you to some of my favorite conversational podcasts Wil Wheaton’s Radio Free Burrito, Paul and Storm’s, Paul and Storm Talk About Stuff for 5-10 Minutes on Average. Slightly more organized but just as nerdy and interesting the Nerdist podcast. Non-conversational but still interesting podcasts I frequent include the storytelling The Moth podcast, and the radio based This American Life. Good stuff to fill your time with. Heyo everybody. This is one of the better puns I’ve cobbled together in a while. I hope you enjoy it. Not cobbled like cobbler mind you but more in the sense of drawn from various parts and pieces of my everyday experience (not so much with bars as with film scores) and completely overrunning the bounds of this metaphor which was not all that well constructed to begin with. Or cobbled like shoes. That wouldn’t make any sense. Have a good one, on the house.
